Digital Warriors is a service available to arm you with the skills and knowledge needed to live in harmony with the digital age!
We offer workshops and one-on-one individualised support.
Our Digital Warriors Tutor can also visit community organisations to provide digital tuition.
Drop-in and see us at the Launchpad Communal Space where there is a Digital Lounge available for use, with laptops, desktops, I-pads, and free Wi-Fi.
Individual Digital Support
Do you need some tips on how to use digital devices, software or apps? Digital Warriors feeds on questions and solutions, enquiry and resolution. No question is too small or too silly.
“How can I transfer my photos? How can I increase my digital security? How can I use Zoom to contact my grandchildren?”
Workshops
The Digital Warriors program facilitate Digital Workshops, helping the community to create through a robotic and computing mindset.
The group meet weekly at the Library, learning about physical computing, and have successfully designed projects such as their own Christmas decoration that uses sensors and microcontrollers to create flashing lights! Finishing off with some sewing skills to enclose the controllers and create the flashing Christmas decoration.
