During September 2024, The Our Futures Youth Project conducted a Youth Voice Collection, visiting schools, parks, communities and receiving online surveys.
Our aim was to collect 250 voices that will help shape a positive future of George Town youth. Survey results will be presented to the George Town Youth Impact Council who will launch the survey results with the Future Impact Group and George Town Council on the 4th December 2024.
By completing this survey, the voice of local youth has been heard and taken into account as we look to develop better services and strategies for George Town youth. The collection also included fun challenges, would you rather boards and competitions.
Youth Voice Showcase
Hosted at the Launchpad (cnr of Friend St and Anzac Dr) from 10.00am-11.00am, The Youth Voice Collection will be presented to the community for reflection, contribution and consideration of what could be in the future. Attendees will also receive a printed document of outcomes, including a morning tea.
